Abstract: On the basis of spatial and temporal characteristics of vertical deformation in the study area as shown by data obtained from repeated levelling,dynamic state of recent tectonic movement is described in this paper.It is suggested that a N-S slip of the block was accommodated along the low angle fault before and after the Tangshan earthquake.Moreover,in view of changes in deformation following the shock in point the stress accumalation might be on the front of the slipping block,suggesting an increase in tectonic stresses in the southern part of the North China plain.It is concluded that historically seismic zones and those in the process of being deformed,which have NW-treniding structures acting as a barrier to shocks can regarded as seismically potential regions.

摘要: 本文根据文安、霸县地区(简称文霸区)历年水准复测资料所反映的垂直形变时、空分布特征,对该区现今构造的动态进行了初步分析。认为该区在唐山地震前后,地块沿缓倾断裂生了由北向南的滑动。同时,根据震后形变大势的改变,滑块前端可能存在着应力积累。这预示着华北平原南部构造应力的加强。在这一过程中,老震区和起阻隔作用的北西向构造区可视为地震发生的潜在地区。
