中国大陆地震震级和地震活动断层长度的关系讨论

Abstract: In this paper fourteen formulas about the relation of earthquake magnitude with fault length in China are collected and divided into three regions: eastern China, western China, and China continent. They are reestimated one by one and three new formulas about the relation of earthquake magnitude with seismogenic fault length in three regions are obtained. The fault lengths that correspond to different earthquake magnitudes in ±σ ranges are also given.

摘要: 收集了中国大陆有关震级和地震活动断层关系的14个关系式,分中国东部、中国西部和中国大陆地区进行归纳,重新拟合得到3个地区震级和地震活动断层关系的综合结果,并给出不同震级对应±σ范围内地震活动断层长度。
