Abstract: The behaviour of faults,which are the boundaries of fault block,is closely related to the movernent of the latter. Analysis of the relationship between the fault block movernent types and the fault activities and segmentation,as well as that between fault block movement and structural barriers is carried out in this paper.

摘要： 断层作为断块的边界,其活动特征和断块运动密切相关。通过分析断块运动类型与断层活动及其分段的关系,以及断块运动与构造障碍的关系,论述了断块运动研究在活断层分段中的作用。
