Abstract: The convergence of Indian and Eurasian plates,especially the crustal activity in the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau has attracted geoscientists attention.This paper atempts to use the advantage of wide-sight and continuity of view on the Landsat images to analyse the spatial distribution of the lineament and their geometric patterns for avialable information.Combined with geological,geophydical and seismological data,a further investigation is made for the main characteristics of the acnvitity of blocks and their boundary faults in the plateau and their generations.
